Single views are 2D drawings and are the most basic drawings in CAD.
Single View Drawings I Have Done
SV-1
This is my first single view drawing I made in my freshmen CAD class. It is very simple with basic object snaps and lines. But the yellow dimensions dont have units. I would have not made that mistake if I listened to the instructions.
SV-2
This is my second single view drawing where I learned about perpendicular object snaps which I used in the red circles. Once again I made my dimensions in yellow too small and they don't have units.
SV-3
In this drawing I learned how to use the tangent object snap. My yellow dimensions still are too small and don't have units.
SV-4
This drawing has one mistake and its the yellow dimensions which are too small and don't have units. In the red circle i had a hard time snapping the line to the circle because the object snap seemed to not work.
SV-6B
This drawing I struggled at first to understand how to make it because I didn't listen to directions but after I asked a few questions it was easy. All of the red lines are supposed to be hidden. All of the yellow dimensions don't have units. The good thing about his drawing are that the dimensions are not sloppy and are visible.
SV-7A
This drawing is hard to judge on correctness because I don't have the original drawing but there are still some obvious mistakes. In the yellow circles are circle center point markers which are way too small. The one green line I don't even understand why it is there.
SV-8
This drawing was very easy to do. I just needed to make one side then copy and rotate it to make the other side. I learned how to use the chamfer command which is used on the yellow line.
SV-10A
In this drawing i have many lines that need to be hidden and they are in yellow. The green circle is a circle I did not trim. The red dimensions are sloppy and do not have units. At least this time the dimensions were large enough to see.
SV-11A
This drawing is fairly well and i remembered to put in hidden lines. The dimensions in red are a little sloppy and dont have units as well. The line originated at quadrant was hard to understand at first then i just realized i needed to use tangent snap.
SV-12A
Once again the yellow lines are lines i forgot to make hidden. The red dimensions still don't have units and they have way to many places. The main aspect of this drawing was array and it really sped up the making of this drawing.
SV-12B
I don't really understand why I made this drawing the way I did. I have some proper hidden lines and some not proper hidden lines in yellow. The dimensions in this drawing are better then SV-12A but still don't have units.
SV-13
This drawing is very sloppy in general. All of the yellow lines are supposed to be hidden. The red dimentions this time do have units and are not to sloppy but they are too small.
SV-15B
This drawing i clearly rushed through. The red dimensions are sloppy and don't have units. There is one yellow dimension that i have no clue why it is there. Some of the hidden lines are proper but the green ones are not.
SV-17
This drawing is ok but the text and dimensions are not too good. The red text is too big and not aligned properly. The yellow dimensions are sloppy and don't have units. Next to the dimension that says 1.210 is a white line that needs to be hidden as well.
SV-18B
This drawing is a total train wreck. The yellow line needs to be hidden. The red dimensions don't have units and are sloppy. Some of the red dimensions are not even in the right places.
SV-20
This drawing I am not sure what is going on with it but I am sure it is not correct. For one, all of the dimensions are text edited. I did not know how to make the dimensions say MM as a unit so I had to text edit it. Overall, i had a hard time making this drawing.
SV-21A
This drawing is well made itself but the dimensions need some work. The red dimensions do have units but are a little hard to read. Other then that, this drawing is good with proper hidden lines. I also learned how to use the polygon command on the little bolts in the the middle of the drawing. This drawing was made mostly with array to speed up making it.
SV-26
The drawing very neat and well done but has one mistake. All of the red dimensions don't have units. This drawing also has proper hidden lines.
SV-28
This is last single view drawing I have done so far. All of the red and yellow text is too small to see. The red dimensions also do not have units as well as being to small. One good thing about this drawing is that is has a proper hidden line.
